The opening lines of the song, Grande includes names of some of her exes. Ricky Alvarez, Big Sean, Pete Davidson and late boyfriend, Mac Miller. In verse 2 of the song, she talks about meeting somebody new, this somebody new is actually herself. “Spend more time with my friends, I ain’t worried ’bout nothin’. Plus, I met someone else we havin’ better discussions. I know they say I move on too fast, but this one gon’ last ’cause her name is Ari and I’m so good with that.” From the verse of the song, she’s implying that she doesn’t need another person in her life for her to be successful.
